Magical Spring

Spring is finally here!

It’s so nice to see some colour out there finally. I'm excited to also have that little bit of extra daylight too. I love winter, always used to say I was a winter sort of gal. But to be honest, after such a rough year with the pandemic, I’ve never been so happy to see the back of winter 2020. It was dreary, dark, boring, isolated, restricted and dam cold. On February 1st I personally felt as though a weight was lifted. Something to look forward to and more colours to see. I was so optimistic that I booked several staycations for the next few months. They may be cancelled but sure we can always hold onto hope.

Living in Balbriggan during lockdown has both it’s positives and negatives. Positives: Lighthouse nearby, beach views, harbour views, sea. Negatives: no mountains, no forests, same views/different day!
