Ardgillen in Winter

The name says it all…

Just 4.1km from my door, Ardgillen Castle and Grounds is an absolute haven for wildlife and natural beauty. Apart from the impeccably kept Castle and surrounding grounds, the Forest trails surrounding the Castle and Gardens are home to a variety of birds, foxes, squirrels and plant life. On top of all this, Brambles Cafe which is based inside the Castle itself have set up a small shop at the top of the car-park where you can warm up with a delicious hot coffee and a treat.
