Start of Autumn

We’re our second month into Autumn but it’s only just starting to feel like it’s officially the fall season now. Feels as if this year is absolutely flying in. All the days are melting into each other and it’s all become one gigantic routine. Mask on, sanitisers out, check the news for figures.

One good thing at the moment though is the fantastic skies and sunsets that come with Autumn. The sense of calmness and colour amongst the forests and parks. The leaves along the ground and the crisp mornings that come with the season. For me, it’s my favourite season. It’s when I get to really experiment with my camera. It’s when I enjoy travelling within Ireland the most.

This morning straight after work, I ran in the door and grabbed my camera and tripod. I knew whilst driving home on the motorway that the sunrise was going to be absolutely stunning and worth staying up for, and I was right. It was beautiful, calming, surreal and just makes you appreciate how lucky we are to be here and present right now, especially with all the craziness in the world right now. Happy snapping. xx
