Autumn Sunrise

I know I’ve probably mentioned it a 100 times before, but Autumn is by far my favourite season! The light, the colours, the mood and tones. That crisp air that makes you have to pop on a few layers and a hat. Even the smell in the air. Everything about it is just divine.

I received a message from a lovely lady last night that I met on Instagram suggesting an impromptu meet up at sunrise down at Balbriggan Lighthouse for some morning shots. Unfortunately she wasn’t able to make it in the end but I am so glad that I got my arse in gear and went down to the Harbour. It was like heaven on Earth. The clouds and mood were fantastic. There were also a few other photographers down there at the time too. (One I am not happy with as he set up his tripod directly in my line of sight, like really???) But I got the photos that I wanted and so much more.

With everything going on in the world at the moment, mainly Covid-19, It’s so hard to forget all the good. This morning as I watched the sunrise over the Sea, I remembered how beautiful this world and nature can be. It made me be reminded that this too will pass and in time, things will be great again. Covid, is just a little blip along the way. There is always light and sunrises. Keep safe and masks on. xx
